The southbound crossing opens where the crowds thin and ends in the limestone giants of Bacuit Bay.
Sailing from Coron, you enter the Calamian and Linapacan chains, fifty islands of the clearest water on the planet, before arriving in El Nido on the third afternoon. The same twelve-island route as the northbound expedition, reversed. What sets this direction apart:
- The Calamian First: You begin among the quiet sandbars most travelers never reach, and save the icons of El Nido for last.
- A Capped Group: Shared with no more than eighteen travelers, on the same vessel and crew as our private charter.
- The Natural Routing: Ideal if you fly into Busuanga and want to finish near Puerto Princesa for onward Palawan travel.

Your Captain curates two to five stops each day (four on average) around weather and sea state, so the crossing adapts to the day.
This is a one-way journey starting from one port and ending at the other. We will visit 2–5 highlight destinations each day (average 4), depending on weather conditions like winds, waves, and currents. Stay flexible — we adapt and create the best itinerary for you.
Coron → Culion Islands
8:00 AM · 30 min — Meetup & sail
Meet the crew at the Coron staging point and board as the engines warm and the crew briefs you on the days ahead.
10:00 AM · 6 Hours — Sandbars & snorkeling
Sail from Coron Port through the sandbars of Ditaytayan, Banana Island, and Bulog Dos.
5:00 PM · Evening — Culion camp
Arrive at the private Culion camp. A Filipino dinner, a bonfire, and drinks under the stars.
Possible stops: Ditaytayan Island sandbar, Banana Island, Bulog Dos Island.
The Linapacan Islands
8:30 AM · 2 Hours — Breakfast & break camp
Breakfast on the sand, then break camp leaving no trace behind.
10:30 AM · 6 Hours — Reefs & turtles
The day explores Inapupan, the turtles of Bulawit, Ginto, and Cagdanao, with cliff jumping and beach time as conditions allow.
5:00 PM · Evening — Linapacan camp
Cross to the Linapacan camp for a second night ashore.
Possible stops: Inapupan Island, Bulawit Turtle Spot, Ginto Island, Cagdanao Island.
Linapacan → El Nido
8:30 AM · 90 min — Final breakfast
A final island breakfast as the camp wakes.
10:00 AM · 4 Hours — Reefs & cliffs
Cobra, Tacling, Calibangbangan, and Darocotan as the towering cliffs of Bacuit Bay rise ahead.
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM — San Fernando Port
The approach into San Fernando Port, El Nido, the icons of the bay saved for last.
Possible stops: Cobra Island, Tacling Island, Calibangbangan Island, Darocotan Island.
A typical day on the expedition:
Daytime Activities (8am – 5pm): Chilling, beach time, snorkeling, kayaking, volleyball, and village visits.
Evening Activities at Campsite (5pm – 11pm): Karaoke, bonfire, and dinner together under the stars.
Other Possible Activities: Waterfalls exploration, turtle watching, and cliff jumping (availability not guaranteed).

Weather & Safety
We are guests of the ocean. If weather compromises safety before departure, we will reschedule your expedition or provide a frictionless 100% refund. Once at sea, the Captain holds final authority over route and timing for the safety of all aboard.
Punctual Departure
Out of respect for every traveler, our shared expeditions depart strictly on schedule. We cannot wait for late arrivals, and a missed departure is gracefully forfeited without refund. We advise arriving at the staging point early.
Dynamic Routing
We adapt the route to bypass the crowds. Your Captain chooses the day’s stops around tides, wind, and other vessels, so the crossing stays quiet and the experience stays private.
Date Flexibility & Cancellations
You may adjust your dates up to 14 days before departure. Beyond this window, your crew, provisions, and seat are strictly locked in. Read our full Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Where does the expedition start and finish?
This one-way journey starts in Coron and finishes in El Nido after three days and two nights. Please double-check your departure port before booking flights, ferries or accommodation.
Which camp will we visit first?
The planned southbound route spends night one around Culion and night two around Linapacan. This is the reverse of the El Nido to Coron route. Our team will confirm the actual camps and facilities for your departure.
When do departures operate?
Standard expeditions generally use odd-numbered dates, but each direction has its own approved availability. Please check the Coron to El Nido calendar specifically; a listed odd date does not, by itself, guarantee a departure.
How many guests are required for the trip to run?
The normal minimum is six guests, with a maximum commercial group of 18 subject to approved allocation. We normally make the go/no-go decision three days before departure and will contact you if the minimum has not been met.
What accommodation is included?
You will spend two nights in simple island camps or huts. This is a Standard expedition rather than a Premium glamping package. We will confirm the actual bedding, bathrooms, showers and camp facilities before your departure.
Can I upgrade to the Premium private tent?
The advertised Premium solo-tent supplement belongs to the Premium Linapacan Return Expedition and does not automatically apply to this route. Contact us if you would like us to check whether another accommodation arrangement is available.
Seven meals are included: lunch and dinner on day one; breakfast, lunch and dinner on day two; and breakfast and lunch on day three. Let us know about dietary requirements or allergies before payment.
Are transfers and environmental fees included?
Your written confirmation will identify any included transfers and show the current government and environmental fees. Please do not assume hotel pickup or an onward transfer unless it is specifically listed.
Can a child join the expedition?
Guests must be at least 12 years old. For travelers aged 12–17, we need approved responsible-adult arrangements. Please tell us about any mobility, boarding or relevant health needs before booking.
What should I bring?
Pack suitable footwear, swimwear, sun protection, personal medication and waterproof bags or cases for valuables, electronics and dry clothes. Open-water crossings may involve spray and changing conditions.
Are activities and specific islands guaranteed?
We plan the route around Culion, Linapacan and El Nido, but individual island stops and activities depend on the weather, permits, access and safety. Our captain may adjust the itinerary when necessary.
What if the trip is delayed or cut short by weather?
Your captain has final authority over safe sailing. We will discuss the applicable weather-window, rescheduling, refund or voluntary credit options under your accepted terms. If the journey has already started, our team will assess any undelivered portion of the trip.
