What is the difference between a Charter and an Expedition?
Our Half-Day and Full-Day Speedboat Charters are bespoke, single-day maritime experiences tailored to your preferred pace within El Nido’s primary zones. Expeditions are curated, immersive journeys designed for deeper exploration across multiple unique destinations.
Are El Nido’s Eco-Tourism Development Fees (ETDF) included?
The local government requires all visitors to pay a one-time ETDF, valid for 10 days. We provide clear guidance during your checkout process on how this fee is settled prior to boarding your vessel.
Can we customize the specific destinations on a private charter?
Yes. While the Coast Guard dictates the standard maritime zones (Tours A, B, C, D), booking a private speedboat gives you the ultimate luxury of time. You have the freedom to decide exactly how long to linger at each pristine lagoon or secluded beach within your approved route.
What happens if weather cancels my tour?
Passenger safety is our absolute priority. In Palawan, sudden weather shifts can prompt the local Coast Guard to restrict maritime travel. If your charter is officially suspended due to weather advisories, we will prioritize rescheduling your trip or issue a refund as outlined in our Refund & Returns Policy.
What are your standard boarding guidelines?
To guarantee a premium, controlled, and safe environment for all guests and crew, we operate under strict maritime guidelines. By securing a reservation with Yohak, you agree to our comprehensive Terms of Passage, which details liability, luggage allowances, and passenger requirements.
Can I alter my itinerary after booking?
We offer a degree of flexibility for our private charters. However, route alterations are subject to Coast Guard approvals and weather conditions on the day of departure. Major changes to booking dates must be requested in advance per our cancellation policy.
