The Unscripted Archipelago
After guiding 2,000+ Palawan expeditions, founder Jovet Rosento crafted Yohak to answer what he learned: the best journeys aren’t about volume. They’re about intimacy. Every detail serves unhurried, curated experiences for the discerning traveler.

Essential details for your multi-day maritime immersion.
Which three-day expedition should I choose?
Choose Premium Linapacan Return if you want to explore the islands and return to El Nido. Choose Standard El Nido to Coron or Coron to El Nido if you want to travel one way between the two destinations. For a journey reserved for your group, our private expedition is quoted with an approved route, accommodation and service package.
Does every expedition travel to Coron?
No. The Premium Linapacan Return Expedition starts and finishes in El Nido, with both nights at Parada. Our Standard expeditions are one-way journeys: one finishes in Coron, and the other finishes in El Nido. Check your direction carefully before booking accommodation or onward travel.
How long are the expeditions?
Our listed expeditions last three days and two nights. Planned island stops and sailing times can change with weather, local access and safe operating conditions. Keep a buffer before flights or other non-refundable onward travel.
How many people join a shared expedition?
Our Premium Linapacan Return and Standard shared expeditions have a maximum of 18 commercial guests, subject to the actual boat and accommodation allocation. Premium normally requires at least four guests; Standard normally requires six. A place is available only when the departure has been approved and capacity is confirmed.
What are the overnight accommodations like?
Premium Linapacan Return spends two nights at Parada in allocated tents. Standard one-way expeditions use simple island camps or huts, with one night around Linapacan and one around Culion. The actual camp, sleeping arrangements, toilet and shower facilities are confirmed for your departure. Do not expect hotel-style air-conditioning or uninterrupted electricity.
Are meals included?
The Premium and Standard shared three-day expeditions include seven meals: lunch and dinner on day one; breakfast, lunch and dinner on day two; and breakfast and lunch on day three. Arrival-day breakfast and the final evening meal after the expedition are not included unless your package states otherwise. Private expedition meals follow your approved quote.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements or serious allergies?
Please tell us about dietary needs before payment. Our operations team will check what can be prepared at remote camps and reconfirm arrangements before departure. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen, so serious allergies must be discussed individually.
Are the departure dates fixed?
We publish intended departure dates, but a date is not confirmed until the boat, crew, minimum guest count and accommodation are allocated. Standard shared expeditions generally use odd-numbered
departure dates, subject to approval. Check the current calendar for your selected direction rather than relying on a date pattern alone.
Where do I meet the group, and are transfers included?
Your written confirmation will provide the exact meeting location, check-in time and any included transfers. Transfer coverage can differ between Premium, Standard and private expeditions. Please do not assume hotel pickup or an onward drop-off unless it is listed in your package.
What luggage should I bring?
Pack essentials in a bag that is easy to move on and off a boat, and protect passports, electronics and dry clothes with waterproof bags or cases. Premium return guests may be able to store larger luggage in El Nido, with onward hotel delivery in eligible areas; ask us to confirm this for your booking. Other luggage or storage arrangements must be agreed separately.
What age and fitness level are required?
Expeditions accept guests aged 12 and above. Guests aged 12–17 need approved responsible-adult arrangements. Boat boarding, open-water crossings and remote island stays may not suit every traveler, so please tell us about relevant mobility or travel needs before booking.
Is travel insurance included?
Do not assume that personal travel, medical, rescue or baggage insurance is included. We recommend arranging independent travel cover suitable for remote island travel. Ask our team to confirm any coverage specifically listed in your booking.
What happens if bad weather affects my departure?
Safety comes first. Where your accepted booking terms include the expedition weather window, we may assess the original departure and up to two alternative safe departure opportunities over the following 48 hours. Each option still requires an available boat, crew and accommodation for the full trip. If Yohak finally cancels, we will explain your refund, equivalent rescheduling and voluntary travelcredit options under your accepted terms.
What happens if we have to return early?
Our team will document the portion of the expedition delivered and explain the applicable refund or alternative under your accepted booking terms. A trip shortened for safety is assessed based on the actual days and experiences provided, rather than treating a short return transfer as a full expedition day.
When do you need passenger information?
We normally need the required passenger details 48 hours before departure to arrange permits and records. Last-minute requests are considered only when our team can complete the necessary checks, payment verification and safe allocation before the actual booking cutoff.
