The Architecture of Shared Silence
While standard joiner tours pack a dozen strangers onto a wooden outrigger, Yohak has engineered a new category of exploration. The Micro-Expedition is designed for couples who seek the financial efficiency of a shared journey without sacrificing the peace of a private charter.
We strictly cap this expedition at exactly four guests (two couples). You share the vessel, but you share nothing else. By utilizing the expansive 30-foot deck of our twin-engine speedboat, we create distinct, physical boundaries so your unhurried journey remains entirely your own.
To fiercely protect your peace, we execute a flawless separation of amenities:
- Distinct Lounging Zones: One couple commands the bow; the other commands the stern. You have your own space to breathe.
- Dedicated Provisions: No reaching into a shared icebox. Each couple is provided their own premium cooler stocked with cold calamansi and refreshments.
- Private Island Picnics: When we anchor at Pinagbuyutan Island, our crew sets up two entirely separate island picnics, spaced generously apart on the sand. You dine in private.
After guiding 2,000+ Palawan expeditions, founder Jovet Rosento crafted Yohak to answer what he learned: the best journeys aren’t about volume. They’re about intimacy. Every detail serves unhurried, curated experiences for the discerning traveler.

Common Inquiries
Review our charter logistics below, or initiate a private dialogue for highly bespoke requests.
What is the minimum group size for the Shared Charter?
Our Shared Speedboat Charter requires a minimum booking of two people and accommodates a maximum of four guests (two couples). Each couple enjoys distinct lounging zones, dedicated provisions, and entirely separate island picnics on the sand—ensuring your journey remains intimate and unhurried. If you’re traveling solo, we recommend either inviting a travel companion or exploring our Private Speedboat Charter for a completely exclusive experience. Feel free to reach out to our concierge to discuss options that suit your needs.
How far in advance must I secure my passage?
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all shared expeditions. This strict buffer ensures our crew has ample time to prepare the vessel and curate the fresh local ingredients for the island picnic. Because we enforce such a low passenger cap, we highly recommend securing your space weeks in advance during peak season.
What is included in the ₱9,000 per guest rate?
Our Shared Speedboat Charter is priced at ₱9,000 per guest (minimum two guests, ₱18,000 total). This rate covers your passage, the dedicated crew, the premium island picnic, and all snorkeling equipment. Ground transit to and from the El Nido dock is not included. Additionally, the mandatory government Eco-Tourism Development Fee (ETDF) and specific lagoon access permits must be settled separately prior to boarding. Our concierge will provide exact fee amounts during your booking confirmation.
What happens if I am late to the dock?
Out of respect for the crew and your fellow passengers, the speedboat will depart strictly on schedule. We cannot delay the journey for late arrivals, as doing so compromises our ability to reach the lagoons before the crowds. Late arrivals will gracefully forfeit their passage without a refund. We highly advise arriving at the rendezvous point 15 minutes early.
How do you handle severe weather or Coast Guard restrictions?
We are guests of the ocean. If the Philippine Coast Guard halts maritime operations, or if our Captain determines that the elements compromise the safety or elegance of the journey prior to departure, you will have the choice to seamlessly reschedule to the next available date or receive a frictionless 100% refund.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
True luxury requires meticulous preparation. You may seamlessly adjust your expedition dates or request a full cancellation up to 14 days prior to your scheduled departure. Beyond that window, our premium provisions and your seat on the vessel are entirely locked in, making the fare non-refundable to protect the integrity of the small-group dynamic. Read our full Refund and Cancellation Policy.
