Common Inquiries

Essential details for your multi-day maritime immersion.

Unlike standard single-day charters, our expeditions include overnight stays at exclusive, secluded island basecamps. We partner with premium, low-impact island accommodations that balance the raw beauty of Palawan with essential, high-quality comforts. Your specific accommodation details will be outlined in your custom itinerary.

Yes. All expeditions are fully catered. Our onboard crew and island partners prepare premium, locally sourced meals daily. Because our expeditions venture into remote areas, we require all guests to submit any allergies or strict dietary restrictions during the booking process so we can provision your vessel accurately.

Expeditions are designed as an “Itinerary of Silence”—an opportunity to disconnect and immerse yourself in the archipelago. While you will have signal near the El Nido mainland, expect to lose mobile reception entirely as we venture deeper into the remote islands.

While you are exploring some of the most untouched islands in the world, we ensure our partner basecamps maintain clean, private, and comfortable restroom facilities, including access to freshwater showers after a long day in the saltwater.

To ensure maximum comfort and mobility aboard our custom, multi-day outrigger vessels, deck space is carefully optimized for the journey. We require guests to pack their expedition essentials in soft-sided duffel bags rather than rigid, hard-shell suitcases. If you are traveling with larger luggage, we provide secure mainland storage in El Nido for the duration of your maritime expedition.

You can reserve your journey directly through our website. We utilize a highly secure, custom payment API, meaning your transaction is processed immediately and securely on our platform. We accept all major global debit and credit cards, as well as PayPal.

The level of customization depends entirely on the type of journey you select:

  • Private Outrigger Expeditions: Yes. If you reserve a private vessel for our 2D1N route (El Nido to Linapacan) or our 3D2N voyage (El Nido to Coron), you have the luxury of time. While the local Coast Guard dictates the overarching maritime zones, you dictate the pace. You decide how long we linger at a pristine lagoon or when we move to the next secluded beach.
  • Full-Day Shared Tours: No. To ensure a seamless and highly coordinated experience for all guests on board, our shared tours follow meticulously curated, set itineraries and cannot be customized.

Yes. For guests who wish to have their multi-day journey documented, our team—led by Yohak founder and filmmaker Jovet Rosento—can provide high-end, professional photography and video coverage. Please request this highly bespoke service when planning your itinerary.

Passenger safety dictates every decision we make. In Palawan, sudden weather shifts can prompt the local Coast Guard to restrict maritime travel, even if you are already on an island basecamp. Should this occur, our crew is fully trained to manage the logistics safely. For details on how weather interruptions affect your booking financially, please review our strict Refund & Returns Policy.

Every Yohak speedboat is equipped with premium safety gear, life vests, and comprehensive first-aid kits. Our crew is trained in maritime emergency response. However, because expeditions travel to highly remote locations far from mainland hospitals, travelers with pre-existing conditions must review our Terms of Passage before booking.

Absolutely. We require sensitive information (such as dietary needs and emergency contacts) to safely execute a multi-day expedition, but we do not sell your data or share it with unauthorized third parties. For a complete understanding of our data handling, please read our Privacy Policy.
